Why is there a delay when printing to a network printer?

Given:
Router ASUS RT-N10U
Network thermal printer Godex G330
Network printer HP 1320
Several HP P1102 connected to computers, shared over the network.
3 clients connect to the router via VPN (I think this is the root of evil).
Symptoms:
Printing on Godex and HP 1320 does not always work, and sometimes it just goes with a delay. Rebooting the ROUTER saves. It seems that there is not enough "bandwidth" or some resource on the router.
The press on the shared printers goes without problems.
What can be wrong? And can the router load 3 clients connected via VPN?
Load average: 0.15, 0.12, 0.06
