Why is there a black screen after the distribution's splash screen?

I bought a DELL Inspiron 3162-0552 laptop with the expectation that I will reinstall the operating system on ubuntu or any other distribution. After buying a house, I installed ubuntu 16.04 next to windows 10. Everything worked and would have worked if I didn't want to try another distribution. The laptop worked on ubunt for more than 3 months and I decided to change the distribution kit. I tried to install another distribution (Gnome 3) instead of ubuntu, but I got an unexpected situation, after choosing try ubuntu without installation, a splash screen appeared, after which a black screen appears without display backlight and the flash drive reading indicator just lights up and you can finish it. I looked in Google for problems similar to ASUS's and there the solutions were to prescribe the parameters in the grub launch options. But I have not yet had experience with system loaders. Tried in bios' e set legacy mode and uefi mode. Nothing has changed. I formatted the disk and partitioned it as written on the ubuntu forums, it did not help either. I regretted that I formatted the disk there was an efi partition, maybe it had what I needed, I don’t know. I installed windows 10 again, it works and there are no problems during installation. I found updates for bios on the official website of dell, but it did not help either. I write the summary here.

nomodeset in the kernel boot option. It looks like it. I had this happen all the time when installing Calculate about a year ago. It's probably grub. Instead of Enter, press 'e' and at the end of the kernel parameter line (usually the longest) add nomodeset with a space. Then press F10.
grub has a lot of hints, they are worth reading, I write from memory ...
