Why do files with extensions tar.gz, exe, bin become invisible?

I download files with the extension tar, exe, bin to the tablet, so that later I can attach the tablet to the laptop and take these files to the laptop. I open the internal memory, the download folder on the tablet, but they are not visible there, although they are downloaded and visible from the side of the tablet, but not visible from the side of the laptop. On the tablet is Android 5.1 without Root rights, on a Linux laptop dewdrop.

Depending on the mode in which you connect the android, it can give both the entire flash drive as a regular removable device, and emulate software access.
In the second case, the server program itself decides which files to show.
MTP, PTP, USB
A complicated option, if everything goes badly - put some Total Commander with a local network plug-in on your phone and pour it over the network to your computer.
