Why is the wlan interface not working?

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. I got a problem. This morning, sitting back at the PC, it turned out that I do not have a network connection. At first I started to sin on netctl, I seemed to do the same actions as before in similar situations, but this did not help. Then I began to google the problem, scrolled through several forums, used instructions, cleaned logs, recreated profiles, turned interfaces on and off, updated utilities, then removed dhcpcd, netctl, etc. from autoload. But as I understand it, the last point did not play a significant role. After that I tried to reinstall the software, but that didn't work either. Here it dawned on me to check the wireless connection on live sd, but there is also a problem similar to the past (when scanning, nothing was found), although any connection to the ethernet works. Now the question arises, could there be a problem with the iron?

Did you look in the BIOS? Is the adapter turned off? (although why would suddenly ..). Well, is there an adapter in the output of dmesg ?

Most likely with iron problems. Since wlan has some features - the connection chip freezes. You can usually get rid of freezing by de-energizing the chip - if the power management program has the appropriate command and its hardware implementation.
In general, it turns out that either an incorrect driver causes hardware failures, or unstable hardware requires a special driver that takes this instability into account.
I recommend trying a complete power off - if after that it works as before, then this is it.
