Why is the wi-fi module periodically cut down?

It was possible to reproduce the ideal conditions under which 100% we get the problem.
We just take and cut down the router and at the same time the Wi-Fi module on the laptop is cut down, so much so that not a single neighboring router sees it at all. Service network-manager restart helps at best, reboot at worst, and shutdown at worst. The load on the module has no effect. One has only to give a small failure to the router, then the module crashes. There are two beech on the same Linux on the router (with which the problem was originally on Windows and everything is the same), everything is fine with the second beech (hereinafter lenovo).
What we have:
Acer aspire 5775, linux mint 18.3 x64, kernel 4.13.0-43, Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 module (Kernel modules: ath9k). I bought an Intel Centrino N-130 module (Kernel modules: iwlwifi), nothing has changed. Then I decided to remove the Broadcom module from lenovo, I don’t remember the model, everything flies fine. I would have left it that way. But Atheros and Intel Centrino don't fit into lenovo.
So you tell me to buy a second Broadcom and you will be right, but it's interesting why other modules do not work.

There was such crap, and there was nothing to change the drava and firmware, the factory marriage did not help. I didn’t delve further, I replaced the module in the beech and I don’t worry about it for the day.

And what about the dump in dmesg? rfkill? The pci-e module cannot hang up the bus.
There were problems with acer, though on Windows. the native atheros QCWB335 module - there was a very low speed and constant packet losses, changed to broadcom BCM943228 - it was good at a speed, but periodically stopped seeing the network, only a reboot helped. I could not win, I installed intel ac3160 and everything became normal.
Or 2 modules turned out to be defective.
