Why is the video format so hated?

Why is the video training format so hated by established programmers?
If it is easier for a person to understand the video in the initial stages, then why not?
Anyway, after all, in the end, if he wants to grow into a professional, he will read books, and docks, etc.

Nobody hates video tutorials. They clearly occupy their niche of primary education, when you need to chew on the basic concepts in words and gestures and hold the hand through the first few lessons. But as soon as the developer goes through this initial stage, they simply lose their effectiveness and books and tutorials come into play.

There is nothing in programming that cannot be explained by text: what to write, where to poke, and so on. Maximum - pictures with non-obvious pieces of gui. Using video instead of text is a fool and a tribute to fashion. The video does not allow using Copy-Paste, text search does not work, etc. In general, fu is not necessary.

There is the concept of "theoretical foundation". You can learn the basics in the video tutorials. All this may end up making your more experienced colleagues think that you are stupid. And it's not very good. You can watch video tutorials. It is even sometimes useful (to listen to the construction of thoughts, etc.). But they should not be put at the head of the learning process.

1. It is impossible to COPY the code from the video lesson and correct it
2. They speak slowly and badly
3. The dynamic picture interferes, the maximum that is needed is just a picture and text.
PS All of the above has nothing to do with lessons like "learn how to use the editor, where to press, what menus are." But it has nothing to do with it.

When reading a book, the same information can be read faster than in a video. Although some lectures are very interesting, it is difficult to find them on paper.
