Why is the sound in headphones distributed to 2 ears at once, no matter which ear the sound is delivered to?

The problem is that any headphones that I tested on a PC, as it were, divide the sound into 2 ears at once, regardless of which ear the sound was given to. Video for the test https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFrydXYw2bs&ab_cha... , when connected to the phone, everything is perfectly separated, to the PC - the sound becomes one. Motherboard MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon. Installed the latest drivers - did not help, is it possible to change the bios

This happens when you connect a
4-pin jack to a 3-pin connector. You
need an adapter like this

. Or turn off spatial sound.

it is still worth looking at the short-circuit option. in the connector or on the board between the outputs of the left and right channels.
