Why is the site not getting through to the GEO dependent query at all?
Welcome all! Such is the question. There is a site created specifically for my country (Kazakhstan) the content on the site is simple videos, the site has traffic a little more than 20k per day. But here is the question. If, for example, I give a query to Google "Kazakh video site", then my site goes into the top 5 with this order, I understand the request is strange, but many of us are looking for it. But here is the crux of the matter, we have sites for restaurants, ads, etc. so if I give a request to Buy an apartment, then Google returns specifically our ad sites, even if I do not indicate cities or countries simply "Buy an apartment"
And if I make a request for a video site, then only youtube.com and ivi.ru come out. So I can’t understand why if in the case of purchasing something or searching for restaurants, etc., yes, in general, for the most part of interests, Google gives a result based on the country from which the request comes. But it is from the video that no kz site displays at all.
A couple of months ago, I added keywords, kazakhstan, in kazakhstan, in general, there is a whole list there, but it never helped at all, that I thought that it was the indication of the country that was missing, since in the case of ad sites there are everywhere in the headlines to buy an apartment in Kazakhstan for example.
So how can I promote a site based on my geo location? For the rest of the queries that are popular with us and related to Kz, everything is fine with the site in the top 10 at least, and for more popular ones, in general, 1-2 place. Please tell me what is wrong with the video, why in this case Google does not take into account the country.

So Google understands your queries as geo-NON-dependent. Specifically, the "video site" is definitely geo-independent.
And I think it's also important that you enter a request in Russian. Try it in Kazakh. Or change search settings
videos are geo-independent requests - and it doesn't matter what your site domain is kz, ru, org, com, etc. As you were advised above, try all the descriptions, etc. do it in Kazakh. And so you promote as geo-independent queries - select keys, compose descriptions, etc.
