Why is the resolution 2 times lower in Chrome and Safari on Macbook Pro Retina?

I have a Macbook Pro Retina 13.3 inch
Resolution from About This Mac: 13.3 inch (2560 x 1600)
In Chrome and Safari browsers page size is 1280 wide.
In the settings - the scale is 100%
Specifically for the site - the scale is 100%
Is it right? Perhaps there are some meta tags to let the browser know that the site is ready for Retina?

@Surzhikov

Because this is how it should be: in hidpi mode, one logical pixel corresponds to 4 physical pixels (2 horizontally and 2 vertically). Accordingly, 2560 turns into 1280.
