Why is the picture more colorful via VGA than via HDMI?

There is an office PC with a built-in HD Graphics
630 vidyuhi. There are two identical monitors with factory settings hp24f. One is connected via VGA cable, the other via HDMI.
And the problem is that on the monitor connected via HDMI the picture is much more faded than on the one connected via VGA.
In what there can be a problem?

Turn the brightness and contrast, it will be the same.

Calibrate your monitors for color profiles.
Photoshop has a special utility.
Plus VGA distorts the color a bit
