Why is the monitor streaked?

Previously, the monitor had small stripes to the right of the text. Strongly did not strain, and it was almost imperceptible. Today I unexpectedly found not just stripes, but long stripes from all contrasting objects and from the left edge.
The photo should be clearly visible (clickable). What could be the reason for this and is it possible to somehow fix such a monitor?

Inside the monitor itself, the VGA port might be bad.

I had this with a bad contact of the vga cable. Try checking the connections or changing the cable.

try replacing the vga cable with a more expensive one. Would it be better to go digital?

A friend of mine had the same problem on a Samsung 940N after the monitor fell to the floor. As far as I know, it has never been cured.

It happened on a 17" Samsung CRT, on several at once, but on one model - a defective batch.
It was solved with a good cotton on the side of the monitor)) when they got bored, they took it to a service center - they did it under warranty.
On and if you yourself, remove the cover, look at the capacitors and other components, maybe something needs to be soldered.

From the VGA cord, this can also be, the best old white thick VGA cords. Well, or the cord / monitor is located near the power supply network 220V.
