Can GoPro 5 and RadioLink AT9S (remote controller) be used together?

Need advice. Gathering information to build my first drone based on Ardupilot.
I want to order RadioLink AT9S 2.4GHz, I already have a GoPro Hero 5 camera, the following is written on the manufacturer's website - "Wi-Fi with a frequency of 5GHz and 2.4GHz, b / g / n (double coverage without special priority)".
Question
1. Will they interfere with each other?
2. What distance can be expected? (I read that up to 1800 m, but I doubt it)
3. How else can I organize the transmission of a video signal in order to increase the range?

There are many transceiver ready-made kits in different frequency ranges and different capacities in the form of modules. There are also multi-channel Wi-Fi kits (up to 8 channels). You choose a relatively clean channel and work on it, you can control it by pre-switch sampling or by switching them remotely.
