Why is the gif animation not working?

Hello everyone
I am writing a small resource in which GIF animations will be displayed. Faced with the fact that some gif animations are not played in the browser (tried on chrome and firefox)
At the same time, it is displayed on the web resource if you click on it . I tried to look at the code in the browser of this element, I didn’t really understand it.
Google advises changing the browser configuration settings, but this is somehow doubtful.
Please tell me what it is and how can I play gif animation?

If you take a closer look at the element's code, you will notice that when you click, the image is replaced by another one (their urls are similar, but different). Therefore, the simplified one, consisting of one frame, is displayed first, then the full one.
