Why is the file not exported from FreeCAD to DWG?

Dear experts, please advise how to save the file in "Autodesk DWG"?
After the export, I open the folder and it is empty.
Somehow I needed to create a 3D model of an adapter for a home machine. I realized that if I start making wood right away, then I simply throw out all the blanks that I have, since I didn’t know exactly what kind of accuracy and proportions were needed. And I decided to make a 3D model in some free program. I was delighted to stumble upon FreeCAD by accident. watched a couple of videos and realized that a bright future has come. And you don't need to download stolen AutoCad.
I poked around in FRECAD and created something, but I realized that this program does not have an intuitive interface, and some functions are clumsy. (dimension lines, axis snapping, 3d model rotations) this is terribly done.
It's just awful, not to mention that some buttons are not located where they expected, for example, the button to copy a 3D object. I had to search for some time. although the copy function is an obvious function. and in order to copy something, you need to watch video courses in advance about how to know where which buttons are located.

Now I decided to download either the trial version of Compass or the Demo version.
but I just cannot export my model from FREECAD. export does NOT create a file.
What's the matter?

PS Then I decided to download the portable version of FREECAD, assuming that the modules should work better in it. But here it didn’t work out either.

The standard answer in such cases is to try exporting to dxf.
Why it doesn't export to dwg is another question. I think it has something to do with licensing.
