Upwork

Why is the customer going out of his way to convince me to tell him my Pioneer wallet?

I quote the client in English, and to them my comments in Russian:
sorry, money through upwork comes from my own money, not from the business money. They don't allow me pay from payoneer, so I can't connect my money on payoneer to an account on upwork.
- That is, the customer receives money for a pioneer card (maybe without paying taxes), and cannot credit it to Upwork, so he wants to pay so fiercely through Pioneer?
Upwork can't force you to don't take any job outside upwork, you're not a slave. You don't have exclusivity with them. if you weren't that obstinate I could give you tons of task each week, since I need a lot of work done.
- so far I've done only about 1k$ of work for him.
This really pisses me off, I like the way you work, but I'm sorry, I can't hire you because of your obstinacy. OK, take care. I'm sad about this, I really like your work.
- That is, the dude specifically does not like to pay through Upwork. Why? The point is here. I think not in the commission for the client - I immediately offered to give him a discount on the commission, but in something else. Maybe it’s true that in terms of taxation it’s more convenient for him to transfer the income received from advertising to the pioneer to the pioneer, bypassing the bank account in his country. ?? If so, then maybe there are some ways for him to throw money into the account in the upwork from the pioneer? Bypassing the stage of making this money personal?
UPD: The client just clarified. What kind of payments are the pioneer-physicist-upwork - he has to pay hefty taxes, since this is like his profit as an individual, but he does not pay directly from the pioneer to the upwork, such as business expenses (although I think he simply does not declare).

Even if you do not agree to accept money directly from him, you must report the violation
https://www.upwork.com/legal/
"You agree to notify Upwork immediately if another person improperly contacts you or suggests making or receiving payments outside of the site."
Alternatively, the link says there how you can redeem yourself from the upwork. In a nutshell, from $2500

Let's start with the fact that you are not obliged to tell anyone anything, neither to the upwork nor to the client.
direct payment is the risk of an eternal ban on the upwork, that is, if the client is not ready to provide you with a job for the coming years, he will have to be refused.
besides, if you agreed, you become a hostage of the client.

Offhand options:
- does not want to pay the customer's commission
- believes that he can pay you less, because there will be no upwork commission on your part
- carding - the pioneer's cards are stolen from him, etc.
- if you start working with him outside of upwork - he will always have a lever to put pressure on you - if he reports upwork, you will be banned
- indeed the nuances of taxation

Rogue.
Most likely he wants to force you to break the rules of Upwork in order to blackmail you and get a job for free.
For this violation, you see, an automatic perpetual ban in Upwork.
Maybe not everything is so scary, and he just doesn't want to pay Upwork's commission...
But there's not such a terrible commission.
Think about how "profitable" the client is if he wants to save such a penny.

All this (his quotes) sounds very unprofessional, at least not in an adult way. Even more, it smacks of the third world, where does it even declare itself from?
In short, perhaps this is a freelance reseller who receives money for his pioneer, and all the mud is connected with this.
