Will I be unbanned from upwork if I moved to the USA?

Hello!
Banned from upwork about a year ago due to unclaimed applications.
After that I won a green card and live and work in nyc. There is free time after work - I thought to try to unban the acc, maybe someone had experience?

try unbanning through support if you think your skills have grown.
Banned not for location, but for skills.
More than once I watched how accounts were pulled out of the ban for providing confirmation of skills

Does it really make sense to work at Upwork rates while living in the USA?
