Why is the "Content Download" time different when receiving an HTTP Redirect (302)?

Please help to sort out the problem.

Google Chrome browser
I make two identical requests to the server, which generates an http redirect (302).
In both cases, in the Google Chrome developer console, the size of the generated redirect is the same, but the time to download the server response is very different: 318ms versus 3ms.
In both cases, the redirect is generated to the same url.
If the experiment is repeated in a new tab, the download time will again be different, if the experiment is repeated in the same tab, the download time will be small (~ms).

The server is running Nginx, which is configured to proxy to a Java server that generates redirects.

An example of response timing is in the attached images.ad2d8e1223ea419993b221dc407b751a.jpg

I found out that in Google Chrome in incognito mode, Content Download is consistently low. Also low response time if you disable all extensions in the browser. It looks like Crome adds time during response to load scripts from extensions.
