Why is the amount of memory not returned in the mac video delete field?

There were 100 gigabytes of free space, I downloaded a 50 gigabyte movie, then moved it to the trash and cleared it, and only 50 remained. How can I change this?

This situation occurs if you have an active Time machine backup.
Before starting a backup, Time machine creates a local (on your HDD / SSD) snapshot of the file system and then copies this snapshot to backup media. This is done in order to exclude the effect of file system changes that occurred during the copy, since it is not instantaneous.
Local snapshots are stored on disk for a day, after which they are deleted. Accordingly, as soon as your deleted file disappears from all snapshots of the system state, the space occupied by it will be freed.
You can view the list of local snapshots using the tmutil program in the console.

saembp:~ saenara$ tmutil listlocalsnapshots /
