Why is static ip better than dhcp?

I have static on my network, DHCP is enabled only for two addresses of devices that cannot otherwise

Static IP - you configure everything yourself and make sure that IPs do not repeat. DHCP - everything works by itself with the help of magic. In most cases, DHCP is better.
