Why is SMART not shown for a new external HDD (4TB)?
Colleagues, yesterday I bought a new external hard drive 4TB SEAGATE STEB4000200 EXPANSION DESKTOP DRIVE in the store.
Connected, launched Victoria HDD (4.46, 4.47) for Windows, went to the SMART tab - writes that it is not supported.
Tried some other utility - the answer is the same. This is the first time I've come across something like this, so I decided to ask you...
Is this normal?
