Why is Skype dropping incoming calls?

There is an incoming call, I connect the camera and everything disappears. I have ubuntu, what's wrong with skype? There was a normal application, now they made it for a tablet and krants.
Who can tell me how to solve my problem?

By the way, as sim3x correctly wrote - indicate the version of ubuntu, skype.
Synaptic has an old version that doesn't want to work. Install from the official site - everything will work.
