Why is one piece of information interesting and the other not? And how to make the information more interesting to study?

Programming is very interesting for me, it is very interesting to code with the help of those technologies that I have already studied, sometimes I even hardly force myself to go to bed, I stay up so long at night. But when it comes to learning some new technology, there are problems with the fact that, firstly, it’s hard to force myself to start every day, and when I do force myself, then I barely have enough for half an hour, and then the brain requires me to go online and look at some "pleasant" information for the brain.
Here's an example: I really love coding my React apps, but I still need to learn redux for a new project right now.
1) there is a 10 minute video on YouTube reviewing the new phone
2) there is a 10 minute video on YouTube on redux
I watch the first video with pleasure.
And the second one is very difficult for me to watch to the end, every minute I look how much is left before the end of the video.
As you know, our brain is bored with monotonous information, it always needs new information, then it is not bored and it does not resist. But in both the first and second videos, new information for the brain, the author of the video talking about Redux writes more and more lines of code, even tries to present the material in an interesting way, that is, the brain also receives new information.
Then why is the information from the first video (about a smartphone) interesting to the brain? And the information from the second video is not interesting?
And the second question: How can you make the current information from the second video more interesting for the brain? Perhaps in the form of some kind of game, you can carry out the process of watching a video? Perhaps someone some interesting approach uses?

First of all, you have a shifted locus of control. “The brain is not interested”, “the brain demands”, “the brain resists” - you have singled out a piece of yourself into a separate entity that is to blame for the problems. This is not true. We must begin with the return of responsibility to its rightful place - "I am a weak, weak-willed owner of clip thinking, who will not achieve anything in life." And after that, you need to engage in the development of will and concentration. It’s very good if you can go from watching a video to reading a text.
