Why is my laptop keyboard not working?

The computer was flooded, after which the keyboard stopped working.
Bought a new keyboard but it doesn't work either. The keys light up, but nothing is printed when pressed.
Also, when connecting the keyboard, the touchpad and mouse buttons start to work incorrectly.
What could be the problem? How to determine the malfunction?

If you, having changed the keyboard in a flooded laptop, decided that it will work as before, you have a direct road to the service. Don't forget to remove the battery, maybe it's not too late...

> What could be the problem?
Because immediately after flooding, most likely the laptop was not de-energized, not disassembled and not washed, then most likely electrochemical corrosion corroded the contact pads and tracks on the printed circuit board, the leads and metallization on the components.
> How to identify the problem?
Disassemble the laptop, damaged areas will be visible to the naked and armed eyes.
And yes, I advise the service.

completely disassemble, clean with alcohol all the contacts under the keys, connections - completely remove the oxides, see if the tracks on the soft printed circuit board are oxidized, etc.
