Why is iWork on a MacBook paid? How to install?

So:
1) I bought a macbook 2013, entered my Apple ID there from an iPhone, everything was delivered for free.
2) I bought a new macbook 2014, entered my Apple ID there - everything is ok.
3) Macbook 2013 reset, formatted (Cmd + R at boot), it recovered via the Internet, first deflated Mavericks, then Yosemite. I created a new Apple ID and now it requires $19.99 for each office application. I want to give the laptop to a friend, it is necessary that there be an office suite. There is no charge for a free wish.
How to solve this situation?

Try the Family Sharing feature - support.apple.com/en-us/HT201085
Well, in the end, you can just install this software package from your Apple ID to it. A friend will not be able to update, but will be able to use them.

This package comes free only with new computers. You will have to buy or use LibreOffice.
