Why is it not recommended to use a cropped SIM card?
I bought a tablet on Win 8.1, it has a connector for micro-SIM. The manual says that the manufacturer recommends using a micro-SIM "from the factory", and not a cropped regular SIM card.
Why? Is there any difference between "true" and circumcised? Or can it somehow harm the tablet?

I don't understand why you are confused? At the office of any operator, any SIM card will be exchanged for you on the spot for micro / nano-sim
