Why is it easier to update amd (mother and cpu + nvidia sli) game system?

Why is AMD less likely to release a new socket? and you can put more CPUs on one socket ... it's easier to update hardware, isn't it?
Why is it effective to buy a second nvidia and pair on a motherboard and not throw out the old vidyuha when updating?
What other tricky ways are there to upgrade hardware? Gaming but almost budget PCs for 2-8 years. What other ways are there to update the PC to the level of the game at maximum hd world of tanks?

If you look at history, this is not entirely true.
Previously, AMD, in principle, released fewer processors, and followed Intel, therefore, saw Intel's mistakes and did not allow it.
Over the past 10 years, the CPU frequency has not grown much. Hardware optimizations affect data centers more than home use, so it doesn’t make much sense to update the hardware. Mostly video cards, SSD, interfaces.
If you take a computer 8 years ago, it is not much inferior.
But if you take a computer from 16 years ago eight years ago, there will be a huge difference.

in fact, SLI technology is already outdated and a fairly small number of games can normally support it, but still it will allow you to play fresh games more comfortably, but keep in mind that not all motherboards support SLI and not all power supplies will pull the load of 2 video cards. You need to approach this matter prudently.

Updating the socket, if we talk about modern hardware, is largely marketing. The producer retains the socket as long as it makes sense. Yes, on AMD the socket changes less often, it's easier to update. But it is worth paying attention to the chipset of the motherboard. Not everyone supports fresh prots.
Concerning SLI - a question very disputable. As tests show, a significant increase in a small number of games. For some work programs, this gives a tangible increase, but for games it is better to buy one good one.
In short, if you want to extend the life of the platform, yes, consider AMD on a good motherboard with a top-end chipset. And change the video card. But I can't tell you how soon AMD will change the socket. Maybe even next year.
