In general, specifically in mine it happened like this. There was a SATA controller driver from Intel. I installed the driver from Microsoft, rebooted the PC and everything immediately became normal. I didn’t understand why such a problem was obtained with the driver from Intel, but I don’t need it.

You forgot to mention which disk the old man is working as. System, file.
It will not be superfluous to replace the SATA cable.
So, if the test is successful and there are few slow sectors, then reset the data to another hard drive, format this one.
