Why is code indenting not working in pycharm?

I'm new to python and I just moved from a very easy programming thread to this one and can't just indent the code. When I press enter it just creates a new line of code but it starts from the beginning and not from the while block and the same if I want to make a space between some lines of code. They remain in their places and a new line of code is simply created from below

Tab, right?
And, if after while there is no indent on a new line, then most likely you forgot to put a colon after while.
