From which repo you installed, admit it. Ask questions there, directly to the maintainer.
Is selinux enabled in general?

selinux check cat /etc/sysconfig/selinux
security level should be disabled there. or write your policies.
if you turn off selinux, then you need to reboot. It still doesn't hurt to smoke /var/log/messages for a bind error.
