Why in ubuntu 13.10 do input fields lose focus when changing layout?

When entering text in a field, if you change the layout, the focus from this field is lost, and you have to make this field active again in order to continue entering text into it.
I tried the keys to change the layout: Capslock, Ctrl + Shift, Ctrl + Space, etc.
This extends to view fields when something needs to be "changed/renamed", such as desktop shortcuts or folders.

Report a bug. It will never be fixed, because. support for 13.10 is about to end, but if you're lucky, it will be fixed in a couple of years in other versions.
Maybe there is already such a bug - https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-settings-daemon/+... is it?
