Incorrect rendering of All Pages in Chromium on Linux. Even settings. Thank you for your reply. How to decide?
Good day
to all Thank you in advance for any answer
Problem:
Absolutely all pages in Chromium are displayed incorrectly, even settings, plugins. Instead, always the inscription: Aw, snap. Something went wrong
What was done:
Installed Chromium under Linux Mint KDE. Installed pepperflashplugin-nonfree
Before that, I installed SRWare Iron. Uninstalled it using the program manager. Deleted the chromium config folder. Doesn't help
Then reinstalled Chromium with purge. Without any plugins. Clean. No results
Question:
What is the problem? And how to solve it? Could it be a problem with Flash Player?
Thank you again for your reply
Answer the question
In order to leave comments, you need to log in
look for file pepperflashplugin-nonfree
maybe in /etc/chromium or /etc/chromium.d
contains something like this
flashso="/usr/lib/pepperflashplugin-nonfree/libpepflashplayer.so"
flashversion=`strings $flashso 2> /dev/null | grep LNX | cut -d ' ' -f 2 | sed -e "s/,/./g"`
CHROMIUM_FLAGS="$CHROMIUM_FLAGS --ppapi-flash-path=$flashso --ppapi-flash-version=$flashversion"
just delete it
at the same time andfind / -name libpepflashplayer.so
Installed Kubuntu, installed Chromium. Everything immediately worked. I didn't even have to install Flash.
