Recommend, please, Instant Message-server?

Welcome all.
You need to deploy a corporate IM server on Debian.
The requirements are minimal: correspondence between employees, stability, a minimum of dependencies on other pacts (it is even desirable not to drag the web server along with it).
Asterisk 13 is also installed. Is it possible to set up an im-server on it?

I didn’t quite understand - is it possible to raise it on Asterisk or on the server where Asterisk hangs?
If the latter, then what is the problem?
Prosody - for weak machines. Personally enjoyed. A good choice.
eJabberd - I used to use it, but then it was raw. Now, it seems, it shows itself well in battle, but the moped is not mine.
OpenFire - I put everywhere. Stable. Healthy. Requires thoughtful setup.

You can chat with *, just add a couple of settings to the config, and don't forget to write the dialplan. The only thing is that not all clients normally work with these messages. I found the only one - Microsip
