Why HDMI and Display port give a different picture?
Since there are questions on the topic, I'll ask.
Recently I needed a display port cable, I didn’t have anything extra at hand, but there was extra hdmi.
Both digital interfaces, I thought, there can be no difference, and without hesitation, I took the display port cord out of the monitor and connected the existing hdmi cord instead, since both types of connectors are on the monitor and vidyuhi.
Almost immediately I noticed that the monitor shows differently, on hdmi the picture somehow became more fun.
What a joke, they're both digital. One monitor, one vidyuha, the picture is different.

Found what's wrong.
The HDMI input in the monitor parameters has an option "Range RGB"
and there are two options 0-255 or 16-235. There is a similar option in the video card settings.
Switching this option and gives a noticeable change in the picture.
When connected via displayport, this problem does not occur.
