Why don't user keyboards work?
Good afternoon,
I ran into such a problem - the keyboard suddenly stopped working. I went to the store and bought another one, I put it on and bam still does not work. It turned out that it does not work only from my authorized user, everything is fine under the guest (just from under him I am writing to you). Tell me, can anyone come across such a problem?
Is it possible to override the keyboard? or do some other manipulation ... I will be glad to any advice.

In such a situation, I would log in as a guest, press Ctrl-Alt-F1, log in as a user and make sure that it works in the console, which means that there is a jamb in Unity.
Further on the choice - either try to configure Unity, or put something that is not castrated in terms of configuration (XFCE, for example). Or create a new user - maybe the settings under it will not be broken. Basically, there are options...
