I have been looking at the eGPU market for a long time, and I just can’t understand why all the solutions offered by manufacturers are so cumbersome. After all, there are mobile video chips for laptops, why don't manufacturers make eGPUs based on them?

But you can imagine that the mobile chip is a certain compromise caused by size and power restrictions - no one likes empty smartphones and laptops.
Since these restrictions are no longer on the desktop solution, other qualities come to the fore, including the price / performance ratio.
