Setting up graphics cards on ubuntu (14.04)?

Hi all. xubuntu 14.04 patient on DEXP laptop, Intel Core i3, 4GB RAM, NVIDIA [GeForce 940M]. When running in any browser such libraries as vincentgarreau.com/particles.js on xubuntu, the processor starts using resources by 50-60% and the cooler makes noise. On the same windows laptop everything works fine. I think it's a video card problem, but I don't understand hardware and video cards. Please see if everything is ok here.
Here is the output of sudo lshw -C video :

*-display
       описание: VGA compatible controller
продукт: 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller
       производитель: Intel Corporation
       физический ID: 2
       сведения о шине: [email protected]:00:02.0
       версия: 06
       разрядность: 64 bits
       частота: 33MHz
       возможности: msi pm vga_controller bus_master cap_list rom
       кофигурация: driver=i915 latency=0
       ресурсы: IRQ:32 память:f7400000-f77fffff память:d0000000-dfffffff ioport:f000(размер=64)

lspci -vnn output | grep '\''[030[02]\]' :
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:0416] (rev 06) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
01:00.0 3D controller [0302]: NVIDIA Corporation GM108M [GeForce 940M] [10de:1347] (rev ff) (prog-if ff)

As far as I understand, there are 2 intel and nvidia drivers. Perhaps there should be one? Tell me how to set it up correctly and generally correctly, I think that the problem is in the video cards? Write if you need any more information. Thank you in advance for your help.
