Why don't the up and down keys work in Atom to select items suggested by autocomplete-plus?

I'll tell you on the example of making changes to .stylus files.
For example, we enter "di", Atom offers options for "display, direction" and others.

After that, it is logical to choose one of the proposed options using the "up" / "down" arrows.
But it is impossible to do so. They just don't work.
OS: macOS latest stable
Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

Also had the same problem. Windows OS. Went to File->Keymap... and removed these 2 lines

'up': 'autocomplete-plus:select-previous'
'down': 'autocomplete-plus:select-next'
