Why don't some programmers use antiviruses?
When I met other programmers, I often noticed that none of them use antiviruses. I'm probably the opposite of many programmers - I take the presence of an antivirus seriously, and it must be purchased.
How many of you use / do not use antiviruses and why?

They just slaughter until the rooster pecks, nothing more. Of the more or less sane, those who are sitting on Linux.
Viruses are for noobs. any near-IT specialist is more protected from them because he understands the mechanisms of infection.
Well, I personally hang in the tray avast. if I download a suspicious file, then I scan it. and so it is permanently deactivated, so as not to interfere with the work of programs (after all, antiviruses intercept file accesses and analyze processes in memory)
They use it, especially those who write viruses - they also need to test their creation.
you do not remove the protective cover from the grinder. where the disk is spinning at the speed of "cut my carotid artery to the trash"? and if you shoot, you must clearly understand the consequences.
I haven't used antivirus for a long time. I'm on Windows. I set UAC to the maximum, turned off the autorun of flash drives, I don’t get along on the left sites, I don’t download all sorts of “sexy_girl.jpg.exe”. And most importantly, I don't use any cracks/pills. All software that is installed is licensed, purchased and downloaded from offline sites.
Somehow, out of curiosity, I scanned the utility - I did not find anything.
But some of my friends have antiviruses, and the computer looks like a whore with a "bouquet".
