Why don't goals work if the optimize.google.com hide code is set on the page?

Targets set via GTM. The trigger is the ajaxSuccess event, which is generated by the code.
When you install the google optimize code that hides the page, the goals stop working.
What needs to be done to make everything work properly? I myself am very weak in the code)
