I make bids, usually I put the same price that the client offered on a fixed rate, and on the hourly the same as in the profile. I even did one small project right away (the work took half an hour - an hour) and showed the result to the customer (not the code, of course, but exactly what it does, it was necessary to parse the site in JSON), but still by. Is there something wrong with the text in the profile? Or maybe the projects are not impressive? I would be grateful for any recommendations.

To get started, choose at least one Desktop or Web. And in the case of Desktop, the specialization is clear - qt. That is not so with the web. I assume that nowadays they write commercial web projects in Python without any frameworks at all (or am I mistaken?), then in this case you should separate - you are doing naked python or writing only in Django.

The price doesn't matter. He set a price and 3 times higher than the customer would like and received orders.
The focus is different (I am the customer myself - I see the problem in the other direction):
Responses to the task come in the style:

3) I read it, I want to clarify a couple of points on your project, tell me, but here ....

With a high probability, the order will be received by the one who unsubscribed not with spam meaning nothing, but with specifics writes specifically to the customer on a specific project.

So, after all, most orders are without technical specifications, what can be written there specifically in response to an order?
Answer: You hardly need such orders. If the customer already wants to know the price, but has not yet told you the task, then how will you evaluate the labor intensity, what price will you set?
