Why doesn't Yandex smtp mail authorization work on joomla?

I'm trying to set up mail on a domain on a site (joomla). The smtp settings are as follows:

Everything seems to be correct, but I get this:

The domain is in Cyrillic, so I registered the mail in Yandex. I contacted them in support, they answered that you need to enable either IMAP or POP3 in the settings, and only then authorization via smtp will turn on. Okay, did. But the problem remained. I tried puni code instead of [email protected] No changes. Can anyone come across? Is there a solution or case in joomla? (Because of the Cyrillic domain). Can Virtumart somehow influence all this? Is it possible to replace the standard Joomla way with something, for example, with a plugin for joomla?

It's not about joomla. If the mail is on a domain, then try to make a separate password to connect the site. There it is possible to specify different passwords (for different managers). Make a separate password to connect the site.

On what basis did you conclude that SMTP does not work?
If you mean the result of the button Send a test message - please note that in the current version of Joomla this button works in a peculiar way :)

The password must be entered every time. Reloading the page (Opening / Saving) clears the password field.
The SMTP username must be entered in Punycode.
