Why doesn't visual studio 2013 start?

win 8.1x64 on virtualbox
wpfgfx_v0400.dll! WgxConnection_ShouldForceSoftwareForGraphicsStreamClient+0x39 eats 15% of the processor.
Sometimes it starts up.
