Why doesn't vim use the theme I specified in the settings?
I installed this monkai
color scheme
using Vundle.
I registered the settings in .vimrc

After a lot of fiddling, I found a solution.
You need to copy the material-monokay.vim file from bundle -> theme name to .vim/colors
This helped
