Why doesn't Ubuntu 14 see Micro SD sticks on USB CardRider?

At the same time, the flash drive is working at 16 GB. It also does not see 1 GB, but it sees through the built-in port. However, through the built-in port, a 16 GB flash drive melts an adapter for a flash drive.
Maybe the driver is not loaded. Name it and I'll upload it.
Changing grub with an unknown pcihp.force directive did not help.
dmesg doesn't detect anything on USB inserts. lspci doesn't detect anything.

lspci doesn't detect anything

The lsusb command should show your usb card reader, not lspci for that matter.
Is your card correct? =) It's not for nothing that the adapter melts. On usb, current protection may simply work. Or the card reader has simply already died, since it does not work with the second one either ...
