Why doesn't TCPDF add an image to PDF?

Why TCPDF can't add image in PDF version > 1.4? I use a parser to import it into TCPDF, because TCPDF cannot read an existing PDF by itself, but only create a new one.

It reads it normally, the Image () method works without errors, it just silently spits out a PDF that does not contain an image. And if you give it versions <= 1.4, then everything works.

With what it can be connected? I used to think that GhostScript can't convert normally, but it turns out that even without using the guest and converting the document to version 1.4, it still doesn't work.
