Why doesn't Mikrotik send emails via Yandex.Mail for Domain?
I decided to set up a notification by mail for some events, respectively, I started setting up mail on Mikrotik. Using Yandex.Mail for a domain with logins like [email protected], it is not possible to achieve sending, the message "Auth failed" appears in the logs, i.e. Mikrotik can't login. If you use a regular Yandex account, not traffic rules, authorization works, and the letter quietly leaves. The SMTP server is specified in the settings as smtp.yandex.ru.
Accordingly, questions on the subject:
Do I understand correctly that Mikrotik does not send the entire value of the User field during authentication, but only part of it before the @ sign? Can this be changed?

Everything turned out to be quite simple - the box created through the traffic rules was not activated, respectively, smtp did not work. It was necessary to log in to the web interface of the mailbox once, and the sending worked.
