Why doesn't Laravel Echo and Socket.io work on a page loaded in android webview?

There is an html5 game that runs multiplayer through Laravel Echo and Socket.io. Everything works fine in all browsers, but when integrated into one of the game directories (usual inserting a page into a webview on Android), the multiplayer part stops working. I looked in the laravel-echo-server logs - even authorization in the channel does not reach there. Those. the problem is on the JS side. What is it for? What to do? How to be? And how to debug a page in someone else's application embedded via webview?
