Why doesn't it scan through Abbyy FineReader?

Good day. Your help is urgently needed. I work as a system administrator in one enterprise (I recently got a job), and here, as always, something flies (the old system administrator did it).
The essence is as follows: There is a local area network, 1 printer/scanner. The host computer (to which the printer is connected via USB) can print and scan. Other computers that need to scan from this printer can print but not scan. On one computer I was able to solve the problem - I installed RemoteScan (as a client) and Adbby FineReader (a program for scanning). On the main computer, RemoteScan is installed as a server, on others it is installed as a client. But for some reason other computers do not receive a scan. Scanning seems to be going on - the scanner shows signs of life and scanning, but it does not output to the program, even the scanning strip does not appear, although before that it is displayed that the scanner is "warming up", etc.
What is how to solve the problem? Thanks in advance.
