Why doesn't full_audit samba show linux machine names?

Good day!
There is an Active Directory domain with Linux (deb) and screw (win7) clients. FreeNAS and a resource on it are deployed on the network. For the resource, I filed an audit that writes the username and machine name:

full_audit:prefix = %U | %M |
full_audit:failure = none
full_audit:success = opendir
full_audit:facility = local5
full_audit:priority = notice

If the client is Windows, the machine name is written to the logs, if Linux - its IP address.
Accordingly, the same thing is displayed in smbstatus: the IP address if the wheelbarrow is Linux, and the machine name if the wheelbarrow is Windows.
Why?
