Why doesn't changing the folder redirection path change?

More shortly such amusing situation:
Group policy folder redirection was to itself on the controller of the domain is adjusted. The desktop and user documents were stored at \\SERER2\Users . Users work on a terminal RDP server.
But now I wanted to transfer it to \\SERVER3\Users. I moved everything, set the rights, corrected the line in the GPO, did gpupdate / force ... but it does not work.
More precisely, if you create a new user, then the policy works fine for him and everything is as it should be. But for the existing ones, an error pops up about the inaccessible network location \\SERER2\Users... That
is, it turns out that the policy was not applied to existing users.
Help. Where to dig?
All users are in the same security group to which the policy applies. I don't see any difference at all.

Good day. Had the same problem. The solution is the simplest to go through the PC and manually replace the lines in the registry. Or write a script to replace on each PC. Otherwise, it does not work centrally through GPO.
